Kaaterskill Falls – Route 23A Haines Falls, NY Access the top of the falls by taking route 23A to North Lake Road to Laurel house lane. (518) 589-3903 – Highest cascading waterfall in New York State. Scenic marked hiking trails. Views of the Hudson River. A MUST SEE!

Mountain Top Arboretum – Route 23C, Tannersville, NY (518) 589-3903 – The Mountain Top Arboretum is a non-profit organization that features a living collection of exotic and native trees and shrubs. Approximately 7 acres of botanical identified planting and flowering, trees, evergreens and shrubs in a beautiful natural surrounding framed by the Catskill Mountains. Visitors welcome any time of the year for self guided tours, or call for a guided tour. The Arboretum also serves as a research center for plants hardiness and as a setting for educational programs on a wide variety of horticultural topics.

North Lake – Located off Route 23A North Lake Road, Haines Falls, NY (518) 589-5058 – Visit North Lake for swimming, barbequing and hiking in a breathtaking environment. Open daily May 1 to October 25 8 to dusk.

Pratt Rock – Route 23, Prattsville, NY (518) 299-3395 – White paited relief carvings, 150 years old. Short climb, picnic tables and parking. Open year round. The State and National register of Historic places.

Rams Horn-Livingston Santuary – Grandview Avenue, Catskills, NY access Route 9W south from the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, go 2.5 miles and make a left onto Grandview Avenue, follow for .5 miles to parking area. 480 acres of the Hudson’s largest tidal swamp forest. It’s a breeding ground and nursery for American Shad and Bass. More than 3 miles of trails.

Saratoga Springs (Horse Racing Events) - Saratoga Springs, NY (518) 587-3656 – Guided tours of Saratoga Springs.

Tannersville Bike Path – Tannersville, NY 12485 (518) 589-5850 – The path runs from Clum Hill Road across the Cortina Valley around Tannersville Lake approximately 2 miles. Walkers and hikers are welcome.

Town Tinker Tude Rentals – Bridge Street off Route 23, Phoenicia. Tubing down the Esopus (which is one of the most popular tubing courses around) can be either very relaxing of invigorating. Rentals include transportation back up the river, and both novice and experienced courses are available. Summer only.
